With a few days to go before the Pakistan Super League (PSL) fifth season starts, the Peshawar Zalmi team of foreign players tweeted in Urdu to express their enthusiasm and eagerness to come to play in the region.
“I am packing my bags. Are you ready for Pakistan Super League season five and for Peshawar Zalmi’s fours and sixes?”.
He said, “I am packing my luggage and am ready to come to Pakistan. All of you should get ready to come to the stadium as well.”
Banton’s compatriot Liam Dawson tweeted “Asalam-o-Alaikum Pakistan” on Monday, and said he was getting ready to visit the country.
“Is Pakistan ready for PSL5? Now that the entire PSL is being held in Pakistan, are you ready to fill the stadiums?”
Also, the much-loved Peshawar Zalmi captain, Daren Sammy, took to Twitter accepting the love for cricket from Pakistanis and saying he can’t wait to be part of the Zalmi squad again.
Peshawar Zalmi’s owner Javed Afridi replied by welcoming the player.
The Super League of Pakistan 2020 is set to start from 20 February.
