Iran succeeded in holding their points parallel to India at 26-23 in the first half. In the second half, however, India widened the points gap and eventually won 50-39.
The game in the World Cup now moves to Zahoor Elahi Stadium in Gujrat. Pakistan hosts face Azerbaijan in the first match on Friday at 2:30 pm while the second match is played between India and England at 3:45 pm.
